Dean Ferris unstoppable at Toowoomba ProMX
Round Six Toowoomba, QLD
Thor MX1 Moto One
Moto one began with a holeshot from Dean Ferris, marking disaster for the rest of the Thor MX1 field as that would be the last theyd see of the 111 machine for the opening race.
A masterclass in rut technique and line choice, Ferris crossed the line with a massive 14-second margin over second place title combatant Beaton, who clawed his way through the field after a poor start, but managed to eke out a small lead of his own from the next fastest rider.
That was Todd Waters in a return to championship form, with Gibbs and Tanti rounding out the top five.
